K.tothe.A.Y. is an eclectic East Coast artist whose sound embraces a wide range of elements, from the tight edge of Hip-Hop, to the smooth grooves of RnB and the vibes of Afrobeat / Afropop. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, it’s easy to see that K.tothe.A.Y. refuses to get stuck in a box when it comes to the possibilities of his song-writing. 
Luckily, every once in a while, some of these gems manage to find a place under the spotlight, and this is definitely K.tothe.A.Y.’s situation.
This talented artist goes for the kill, with a signature sound falling somewhere in between the warmth and melody of the most soulful and instinctive RnB, as well as the hands-on approach of Afrobeat, with a personal, vivid, expressive and unique lyricism.

I started writing poetry back in forth or fifth grade and that quickly turned into written down lyrics on a notepad and silently haven freestyle battles in class everyday untill about my junior year in highschool! It was then that I started to think about making music a carreer!Am I there yet completely, no, not yet! However I believe, with hard work dedication, and of course heart, we as humans have the capability to do amazing things as musicians! I believe we have the capabilitty to connect with most people with poetical justice and we madeon a different level If you love music as much as I do and have my whole life, then I hope you enjoy listening. 
But Know that if you get offended easily that it's your choice to listen or not! I built my own platphorm and wilI continue  to do so till I can't do so anymore, or till the day that I die! 
We can only be the change we 
want to see, if we want something to change in our lives for the better! 
and who  in high school! Lol, and getting in trouble  everyday by the tiand
