Tochtli means "rabbit" from the Nahuatl language of Aztec origin and In the Mesoamerican worldview, the rabbit was associated with abundance, nobility and good fortune.


Tochtli was a deity as well as one of the twenty symbols that represented the days of the Aztec calendar.

His nobility and greatness is represented in the legend of the moon rabbit.
