What with drum & bass becoming ever more international, at Lifestyle we wanted to champion this fact and help shine a spotlight on the growing scenes outside of the UK. After last years landmark ‘Australian Connection LP’ we have turned our attention slightly closer to home, this time having organised the ‘Belgian Connection LP’. 

Belgium is country that has been synonymous with a strong rise in dnb in recent times, and we felt this country was the perfect place to launch the next release in our ‘Connection’ series. 

The producers from the land of beer and chocolate have really delivered, showcasing an all-round album with a little bit of something for everyone. Liquid, Half-time, Neuro, Tech, Rollers, whatever you want to call it, this release has it… 

We see this as another real defining moment for us as a label and Belgian drum & bass, and we couldn’t be prouder to be releasing this with our friends from just across the channel.

Long-standing member of Incurzion Audio 'DisKrete' steps up alongside Austrian producer Mofes to present a double-sided free release. They’ve been crafting and perfecting the two tracks and many more for a while now, in preparation for their next releases on Incurzion. The work rate from both of these has been none stop with no signs of slowing down.

A. DisKerete – Rascal:

A collection of horns and low frequencies kick followed by rolling vocals slowly leading to explosive bass and distinctive wobbles. DisKrete knows his signature sound and it shows.

AA. Mofes – Fullburst:

The light atmospheric intro filled with plucks and vocals slowly transitions into a burst of melodic hits which juxtaposes from the deep fuzzy sub that follows, sure to shake up any dance.

Mike and Scott, respectively Decimal Bass and Konichi have massively evolved ever since joining forces as Annix back in 2013. Their high-energy and sonically charged sounds fill a rich back catalogue of work that has no doubt left a mark on dancefloor music forever. The culmination of effort, continuous growth and experimentation behind the mind of each producer has resulted in the beautiful masterpiece that is ​Tunnel Vision.​
 
Opening up with a massive remix of Annix & Kanine’s ​‘Jackpot’ ​from Annix, serves as a powerful punch with a new and updated twist. The title track ​‘Tunnel Vision’ ​offers a contrasting vibe, drenched in straight up 4x4 Bassline energy. ​‘Fever’ ​with vocal collaborator, Maksim, ​vibrates your mind while 'Darkness' with ​Simula​ brings another hard-hitting synth laced dancefloor stunner.

Joined on the album by K-Motionz and Skantia, we are treated to more than a few epic unions. Through the album, Annix explores alternative time signatures, like on the funky and
unexpected ​‘Restricted’.

From the dark and militant ​‘Regenerator’​, to the alluring vibes on ​‘Crazy’ ​through to the mind melting ​‘Hallucinate,’​ Annix have outdone themselves on the ‘Tunnel Vision’ LP for Playaz.
