Sesión hecha en directo para Radigal Streaming Fest, sin retoques ni florituras, tal cual.

RADIGAL es un colectivo de mujeres en Mallorca que surgió con la necesidad de concienciar a la sociedad sobre el papel de la mujer en la tierra y, a la vez, aportar visibilidad a la obra de Dj’s, performers, diseñadoras, fotógrafas y todo tipo de artistas de la escena alternativa.
Las fiestas Radigal están organizadas por mujeres y se dirigen a un público mixto.
Pretenden cambiar la sensación de que la presencia de mujeres artistas en las fiestas es una novedad, cuando realmente debería estar normalizado. También quieren estimular a más mujeres para que se involucren en un Underground que hasta el momento está predominantemente manejado por hombres.
En cada evento, los beneficios recaudados se destinan a una entidad y/o proyectos diferentes que ayudan a mujeres por todo el mundo.

Para Radigal Streming Fest, cada una de las artistas decidimos apoyar a una organización, en mi caso ha sido a No Name Kitchen, una asociación sin ánimo de lucro integrada por personas voluntarias de distintos países que desarrolla sus actividades en el pueblo de Šid (Serbia), a cinco kilómetros de la frontera con Croacia, en Velika Kladuša (Bosnia), a dos kilómetros de la frontera croata.

Atypical Brain is a Belgian and French djane, based in the south-west France. Her project is about duality,
she mixes music to create paradoxical feelings with hybrid sounds, to tell stories with progressions inspired
by life's changing emotions.
The story of this podcast is about dreams and nightmares intertwined with each other, a bit like in a David
Lynch film. It's the meeting between the unconscious and the consciousness, when the dream becomes
too realistic while we sleep and lucidity takes part in the adventure. This progression could also represent
all the stages of life and its emotions, from intra-uterine life to death.
During five acts, we open doors to cross different sound universes, through melodic patterns, broken
pianos and destructured atmospheres, sometimes bright, sometimes dark and strange, like an old record
that creaks and repeats itself. We discover several realities with all kinds of emotions, becoming more and
more intense, from hope to despair, from balance to chaos, exploring the borders of the oniric dimension.

Back again finally with another Amen Mix - Amen Vol 4. I have been trying to do this mix for the last year it seems, but other projects seem to get in the way of it ! So the track list has changed considerably over this time. There were tunes I was going to use initially but ideas can change over time. I will use the other tunes I was going to use in another mix at some point in the future.

Sorry to the inactivity of mixes from me recently. I have been mega busy with my Audio Production degree at SAE Liverpool (which is going really well at the moment) and also trying to keep my head above water in this stranger than usual world we temporarily live in nowadays. Like everyone else my mental health has struggled more than usual but I find exercise, good diet and nothing that can artificially change your mood too much can help massively. And also just getting out into daylight to get the crucial Vitamin D we all need so very much. Every little helps ! :)

So lets help fellow humans in these tough times and give second chances wherever possible I say, lifes too short.
