Over the last decade, Larrys' Lounge  has become infamous at Festivals, for being a anarchic, 24 hour Piano bar where impromptu jams and cabaret keep people rocking noon and night.

Take an army tent, throw in a baby Grand piano, combo amp, guitar, bass  and a microphone and watch as our space is transformed by all the artists that join us for a jam, from main stage musicians to festival goers and crew alike… The fun, humour and sweet music don't stop. Life's a cabaret at Larry's Lounge!

Voted the people's favorite at many festivals where the lounge is a regular feature . The summer of 2014 saw Larrys” join forces with Boggy of the “Curbside Cabaret Solar Stage”, a festival regular here and NZ. This collaboration saw Larrys' smash it in the “Bad Apple Bar “ at Boomtown, entertaining people during the rain with unscheduled Jams and even a wedding.

All festival goers are music lovers and many play to a varying degree, and Larrys' creates and manages a space where they can become part of the fabric of the festival, and own it. Larrys' crew have a mixture of skills in the hospitality industry and stage management, but as the space is a snug LOUNGE we like to look after people, set em up, encourage and coax performance,  provide free coffee, manage those that may have had a bit much, and get involved ourselves.
