Cologne-centric dynamic duo Danito & Athina bring their fresh, soul-inspired production style into play on their newest release for LMF. ‘Feelings’ commences as a winding groove, adding sequence upon sequence of tense chunks on a backdrop of dramatic synths paired with a throbbing bassline. Spiralling on, it reaches a nervous and dance-inducing apex that is only partially relieved, keeping feet moving. The second track dives even further into labyrinthian tech explorations. Starting off with a subdued groove, ‘Hyperion’ progresses into an immersive realm by the way of pulsating drums and psychedelic synths. Berliner Tony Casanova is enlisted for the remix, providing a collateral version of ‘Feelings’. Dotted with relentless bell loopsthat evoke a dark and melancholic atmosphere, the reinterpretation carries on minimal elements from the initial structure. Granite kicks layered with sparse distorted vocals create an unfamiliar yet highly mesmerizing groove with late night appeal, rounding off the release on a deep note.

KUnz the young and wild DJ and producer from Cologne, is resident DJ for Sonntagssause, Holzwurm and Villa Kunterbunt, if is an artist of the special kind. KUnz does not come from a musican family however, to him the music became in that weighs laid,says his dad. Already when he was old 10 years he played percussion to there lives, what fast by CD player and mixer was substituted. It did not last long time and he started to experiment with music. What he has appropriated till this day if it is with play music or produce, gets on virtually by it self, even is the man, he taught him self everything it self. With his extraordinary and varied set´s he glows again and again, predominantly KUnz plays deep house & tech house music in his set´s. Soulful and with heart he enchants the people on the dance floor.

He says it is not only about music that you listen to you need to understand it and feel it.

ist ein Künstler der besonderen Art.
KUnz stammt nicht aus einer Musiker Familie, ihm wurde aber Musik in die Wiege gelegt, sagt sein Papa. Schon als er 10 Jahre alt war spielte er Schlagzeug zu Hause, was aber schnell durch Cd Player und Mixer ersetzt wurde. Es dauerte nicht lang und er fing an mit Musik zu experementieren. Das was er sich bis heute angeeignet hat sei es beim Auflegen oder beim Produzieren, versteht sich quasi von selbst, selbst ist der Mann, er brachte sich einfach alles selber bei.
Mit seinem außergewöhnlichen und abwechslungsreichen Set's fällt er immer und immer wieder auf, überwiegend spielt KUnz Deephouse&Techhouse Musik in seinen Set's. Gefühlvoll und mit Herz spielt er und verzaubert er die Leute auf dem Dancefloor.

Musik sagt er, ist wie eine Liebe die man mit Leidenschaft liebt, es geht nicht nur um Musik die man hört sondern darum das man sie versteht, fühlt und spürt.
