Grace, Jolee, and Izzy here! Our band, Houndsteeth, is an experimental indie pop trio and we are just wrapping up the mixing stage of our 2nd record, “hold your horses”. This album was self recorded at Big Nice Studio in Lincoln, RI and our buddy Brad Kreiger has been mixing and will master the album as well. We picked a few songs that we feel showcase the range of sounds and styles featured on this album, and we’re happy to share the whole thing with you if you'd want! While these tracks still need some mastering, we figured they'll provide a pretty substantial elusion to what the finished product will sound like.Over the past 4 years, we have been active members in DIY scenes across the northeast (Boston primarily), sharing bills with artists such as Squirrel Flower, The Cradle, Sadurn, Wendy Eisenberg, Dan English, Brittle Brian, and members of Palberta . We've toured throughout the US and into Canada. We're really excited about performing these songs live as well and would love to expand our reach with a tour (or a couple of tours!) following the release.
