Spaces that push help away that reveal in loneliness, a reminder that just because we are separated doesn’t mean we’re alone.

A man drives on the highway while it rains, at night, "in the box of shadow that the headlights carry around and hide". He runs towards the city of the woman he loves and who has had an altercation with her that could lead to the end of their love story. But he thinks that she too, the woman he loves, is coming towards him, imagining her in the indistinct cars in the other direction of the highway. And there is also a rival in love who could interfere, he too being on that highway made of cones of light from cars that are indistinguishable in the dark of the evening, of the night, pure light signals, lighthouses turned on in the dark.
