1995 - 1998 as the DJ began to spin records in school discos. Obtained by house music with big fire start
spin records in various night clubs and closed parties in Vilnius.

DJ Groovy 2001 official debut at the Lithuanian DJ Championships in Klaipėda. Rapidly advanced
and energy to the burning house music DJ and has been reported to residence invitation to the night
club "Indigo" but the most successful DJ career and has brought recognition residency in Club Helios
2003-2007 which was shared with a wide range of panel best-known Lithuanian and foreign DJ and
performers. Their skills and playing technique, explosions and the horror house dancefloor bomb
throwing perfectly control of crowd dancing and makes leaving the dance floor until the morning, did
not give the last drop of sweat. Various parties around biggest cities of Lithuania and Latvia clubs are
only a small proportion of nights spend behind the decks.
2008 -2009 move his residence in Kaliningrad club "Universal" which successfully worked with famous
names such as Jimmy Somerville, Barbara Tucker, Stew Edwards, Lee Fields, etc.
2010 returns in Vilnius club scene and involving in the "Movida Corona Lithuania " house DJ
Championships and took 2nd place.

In 2011 DJ Groovy was the first in the international competition of house DJs championship “Movida Corona Lithuania' 11”, he went to represent Lithuania for the Baltic States to the international final competition, which was held in Madrid.

A huge passion for house music keeps groovin in the various parties dissemination of high quality
house beats until now.

ZEM is gravitated towards global sounds since growing up in Istanbul, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, and Berlin. At a young age, she was inspired by her mom’s extensive vinyl collection of 70s & 80s r&b, soul, funk, rock, and multiple Sade albums. Now, she is rediscovering her dad’s Turkish background to Anatolian folk music. Her time growing up in four different countries exposed her to deep house, jungle, Berlin techno, Ethiopian jazz, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Arabic funk & disco, Anatolian rock, which shaped the way she experiences sound with all its intricate layers. She hopes to reconnect to the places she’s lived through music and research, while blending in her own identity and creating stories throughout her sets. 

Beyond DJing, ZEM has picked up embroidery, charcoal drawing, painting, playing the oud, graphic design, capoeira, and photography.
