Driss Garbaui - The Hymn Of Master

My aim is to create a unique aural experience that layers electronic musical motifs with acoustic improvisation in a way that highlights the fractal nature of sound.

But mostly I just make stuff up, record some stuff, and mix it and tweak it until I like it. 

I got into electronic music composition in the early 90's when the MOD scene was strong, inspired by the likes of Purple Motion from Future Crew.  

I started violin when I was 5 years old, and continued through high school and college where I majored in Music & Computer Engineering.  For many years I was a violinist in various symphonies & string quartets.

Love composing music, but just a hobby for me at this time.  Work & family keeps me plenty busy.

SynthMaster is an ‘all-around’ semi-modular software synthesizer and effect plug-in that features many different synthesis methods including VA, Additive, Wavetable, Wavescanning, Phase Modulation, Frequency Modulation, Pulse Width Modulation, Ring Modulation, Amplitude Modulation, Physical Modeling and SFZ Sample Playback synthesis. With its multi-synthesis oscillators, analog modelled/digital filters, flexible effects routing with 11 types of high quality effects and a massive modulation architecture with 95 separate modulation sources and 650+ modulation targets; SynthMaster is a ‘must-have’ for all synthesizer enthusiasts!

SynthMaster received "Gold Award" in "Best Software Instrument" category from MusicTech Magazine.

SynthMaster was awarded "Best Software Instrument of 2012" by MusicRadar web site: http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/the-best-music-tech-gear-of-2012-568175/11

SynthMaster received 10/10 and "Performance Award" from Computer Music magazine in their February 2012 review. Their verdict was: "If ever there was a desert island synth, SynthMaster is it, covering all sonic bases with authority and a superb tone"!

SynthMaster 2.8 is available for purchase as online download at KV331 Audio website. It's available in different variations:

1. 'Player FREE License (Free): 'Player FREE' version of SynthMaster only allows editing of easy parameters and effect bypass states of each presets. It comes with 350 factory presets

2. 'Player License ($29): 'Player' version of SynthMaster only allows editing of easy parameters and effect bypass states of each presets. It comes with 1250 factory presets.

3. 'Academic' License ($59) : Students can purchase SynthMaster 'Academic'. It only comes with the factory presets,  doesnt include any extra expansion presets.

4. 'Factory' License ($99) : The 'Factory' license only comes with the factory presets, doesnt include any extra expansion presets.

5. '1+2 Bundle' License ($129) : The '1+2 Bundle' license/bundle includes SynthMaster 2.8 and SynthMaster One.

6. 'Everything' License ($339) : The 'Everything' licence/bundle includes all released expansion presets (1400 currently).

A demo version of SynthMaster 2.6 is also available for download at KV331 Audio website. The demo version is identical to the standard version except 3 limitations:

1. Saving presets is disabled
2. Starts playing random notes after 10 minutes
3. Comes with 350 factory presets (demo users can check out the remaining factory presets from the online presets browser though)

Robert Miles, Chicane, The Prodigy and BT.
And of course a huge range of videogame songs and chiptune melodies when he was younger.

Irion has earned some first, second and third prizes for his music studio from competing in important online contests.

He has been working with sound designers and synthesizer developers writting demo tracks for Aiyn Zahev, Xenos Soundworks, Tone2Audio, Ugo Audio, KV331, Art-Ak, U-He, CableGuys, Supersynths, Perimeter Sound Arts, HiEnergy, Luftrum, Eclipse Sound, WeatherM, Sound Author, Krezie Sounds and a few others.

Irion is always open to make collabs with female vocalists.
