The compilation is inspired by our weekly radio show of the same name, which is co-hosted by Jacob and Tom, as well as Johan Vilborg, Jayeson Andel, Vintage & Morelli, & Terry Da Libra. Reaching international listeners on Proton Radio, Digitally Imported, Pure.FM, Tenzi.FM, Dance Paradise, and other radio platforms, Silk Royal Showcase recently reached its 300th episode (http://www.silkroyalshowcase.com) and now often ranks amongst the Top 100 Music Podcasts in the USA on iTunes.

Carefully selected to represent the sound of Silk Royal Showcase radio, the songs included in the compilation range from the more pensive and melancholic shades of progressive to the more club-oriented, peak-hour material we tend to play at the end of our radio show mixes and live sets. Many of the artists are seasoned veterans of the SRS compilation series; there are also numerous first-time contributors to this year's compilation, many of whom have asserted themselves as leading talents in trance & progressive in just the past year. UK based artist and synth enthusiast Matthew Hodson was one of the first to get his hands on a prototype of the Modal SKULPT synthesiser. He produced this banging demo track showcasing some of the sonic capabilities our new portable polyphonic synth can dish out.

One half of the Knighstown outfit, Matthew is a busy performer and music producer who has worked in some of the best studios up and down of the UK. Just signed to the legendary FatCat Records, his future sonic excursions will see Matthew produce his own brand of psychedelic techno characterised for his controlled fusion of both ambient and aggressive electronica. His latest album ‘DETACH’ builds on layers of rhythms and melody, drenched in arrhythmic delays and swashes of reverb, which masterfully play with song structure, provoking the listener with familiarity and yet disconnection - is out now via his own label Solitude. Recent performances by Hodson include opening for Wire, supporting the likes of Alex Banks (Monkeytown Records), Ulrich Schnauss, Rival Consoles (Erased Tapes) and also working with the original BBC Radiophonic Workshop on their new material at Peter Gabriel’s Realworld studios.

My contribution to the newschool music competition of the last Solskogen ever – Solskogen 2020 Sunset Online. I dedicated this to the Solskogen crew: Although it's rainy days ahead with Solskogen now being over, we have one final party to light up our lives like a Sunset Through The Rain.

1. 'Player FREE License (Free): 'Player FREE' version of SynthMaster only allows editing of easy parameters and effect bypass states of each presets. It comes with 350 factory presets

2. 'Player License ($29): 'Player' version of SynthMaster only allows editing of easy parameters and effect bypass states of each presets. It comes with 1250 factory presets.

3. 'Academic' License ($59) : Students can purchase SynthMaster 'Academic'. It only comes with the factory presets,  doesnt include any extra expansion presets.

4. 'Factory' License ($99) : The 'Factory' license only comes with the factory presets, doesnt include any extra expansion presets.

5. '1+2 Bundle' License ($129) : The '1+2 Bundle' license/bundle includes SynthMaster 2.8 and SynthMaster One.

6. 'Everything' License ($339) : The 'Everything' licence/bundle includes all released expansion presets (1400 currently).

A demo version of SynthMaster 2.6 is also available for download at KV331 Audio website. The demo version is identical to the standard version except 3 limitations:

1. Saving presets is disabled
2. Starts playing random notes after 10 minutes
3. Comes with 350 factory presets (demo users can check out the remaining factory presets from the online presets browser though)
