The final product of a year of deliberations and complications ends in a project for the core group of followers and listeners who have been seeking a project to call their own to listen to in the comfort of their own space without having to attend a Jeeby Lyricist performance. 

"After releasing Potential earlier this year which was well received, I decided to put out some more tracks for it to feel like a whole project for listeners to vibe to and connect with me on this journey."

Feel Slave as the self explanatory title portrays, is an expression used to define a young (Jamaican) man, who is expected to be the rock solid foundation of the relationship, doesnt speak or express himself much in relation to the things he experiences or feels deep down. As such, he becomes a slave to these feelings that trap him within, that escapes from time to time on the pages of a book. It captures my mind in a most vulnerable state, alone and locked away. 

All tracks were recorded at my tiny set up at home in Kingston, Jamaica over the past year. Come For Me was recorded at Vineyard Town at Equiknoxx.

Forbidden Truth commences the Ep and starts by speaking about the hidden dimensions behind the realities of relationships in our modern era, while So High displays the escape we all have in our lives, juxtaposing the recreational usage of herb with the usage of music to balance the tough realities of life. Potential describes the feeling of getting up and getting done, all the things that plague the mind, in an effort to not let our dreams die. Enie Minie describes a situation with a young lady caught between walls of contemplation where Jeeby Lyricist smoothly tries to convince her that he is the better of the two. Come For Me features the  Wavtress Courtni who soulfully assists Jeeby in explaining what goes on in the head of a male in a toxic relationship where he envisions beautiful images of what the relationship could be if he had just, opened his mouth and communicated those thoughts. Keep Me Calm explains the significance of the feminine energy in achieving balance in furtherance of exploring natures many pleasures. The EP ends with a voice note version of a rehearsal of High Flow Energy, capturing the real life feelings  of young musicians who feel it in their veins but have no idea as to how they will express it. 

The EP’s artwork is the masterpiece of Tinysunting, a talented visual artist from Kingston, Jamaica.
