Hotflush is a record label launched by Paul Rose aka Scuba in 2003. Its early period was spent as a central part of London's Bass Music scene which exploded in the mid 2000s, although the label has always been difficult to pigeonhole musically and recent output has focused on Techno and House.

 I-DJ February 2010  Not many artists can boast knocking Snoop Doggy Dogg off the top of the charts, but that's just one of the noteworthy accomplishments of one Steve Jeffery, aka Pimpsoul. He's also been called "the forward thinking sound of Nufunk" by iDJ magazine and has travelled the world as an ambassador for everything funky and bass-orientated. 

Dogg's humbling took place last year when Pimpsoul's blazing collaboration with the mighty Mooqee, Keep Pounding, hit No 1 on the Beatport hip-hop chart, a hugely important indicator of sales success, which led them to win the Beatport music award for hiphop track of the year 2012. Other achievements include racking up more than 50,000 YouTube hits for his re-edit of Duck Sauce's ubiquitous Barbra Streisand, put together alongside DJP. Pimpsoul tracks have found their way into the record boxes of acts as diverse as DJ Yoda and Krafty Kuts. The likes of A-Skillz, Beat Vandals, Mooqee, Fort Knox Five and Kiss FM's Ali B are also big fans - Pimpsoul has even been called in to co-host Ali's show.

For a producer with such a booming sound (one of only three resident producers on leading UK funk label Bombstrikes) Steve is also a firing DJ who has taken his turntable skills to venues across the globe to entertain audiences in Canada, where he has headlined the infamous Shambhala Music Festival. He has also played al over Europe during the last couple of years. Fully armed with a crate full of his own re-edits and mash ups, Pimpsoul grabs the party by its horns and stamps his name on its ass cheeks like a cowpoke with a bad temper. This flat cap sporting English gent is a genuine club DJ with the power to drop the bass and watch the bodies fly around the room. No wonder even poor Snoop had to accept second spot.


Formed in 2014, Hit Enter are Glenn Burchnall (acoustic and electric guitars, vocals) and James Thorley (keyboards, drums, sampling, production).

The last decade has witnessed an impressive expansion of creativity from Husky, deepening his catalogue success across his own labels to Salted Music, Purple Music, LouLou, Nurvous, Guesthouse, Tinted Records and Sam Divine’s Soul Divine. ‘D-Fine Jazz’ hailed the #1 soulful house spot on Traxsource, while ‘Hypnotic’ took nabbed the same on the deep house category and #3 on the overall chart. Recently, ‘Ready For Your Love’, ‘Movin’ On’ and ‘Freedom’ all achieved ARIA Club Chart success, continuing to open up the demand for his studio touch with remixes for Elk Road on Sony, Andy Murphy on Vicious Recordings, Tinted’s Solitaire, J-Jay for Defected and an almighty edit for Frankie Knuckles.

Despite a hectic road in house music, Husky always brings his studio drive on tour, having played shows in Russia, Bulgaria, Amsterdam, London, Hong Kong, the electronic music hub of Ibiza and across the USA, while also bolting down refined showcase events at ADE and Miami Music Week. With years of music at the forefront and an industry-respected persona, his name hasn’t been shy in the booth, taking the reigns alongside Boy George, Miguel Migs, Sonny Fodera and Defected pioneer Simon Dunmore.

With aims to shake up dance floors globally, Husky speaks the language and love of house music, with his studio work continuing to live while embracing its core truths for the road ahead.

Tim Stone and Henry Coombs have both been raised by families enthused in electronic, jazz and folk music. Henry grew into the mould of music playing guitars and performing classical piano. Taking vast inspiration from the likes of Underworld, Paul Kalkbrenner and Pantha Du Prince, Henry started his clubbing career at Gatecrasher in the days of trance and Urban Gorilla enjoying Breakbeat and Techno in Sheffield. The Yorkshire elements didn't stop there though as he re-located to Leeds be a a part of the vast house genre that has taken the city by storm. Producing on Cubase starting in 2000 was Henrys major factor in his early work, now using Ableton with a midi keyboard and guitars Henrys work has become unique.

Tim started his career dj-ing at the great Twaddle parties back in 2006 with owners Christian Maiden and Jamie Bull which resulted performing with the likes of Leftroom Boss Matt Tolfrey, DJ Sneak and Guillame and the Couto Dumonts. After entering a competion with Mixmag with over 7500 applicants, it led Tim to accumulate gigs at the legendary Back To Basics, The Dirty Disco and Asylum and Technique respectfully. 

As a duo they first met clubbing and realised to combine their skills to create and marry their instruments. With that said 2012 has become a really important year for the twosome with a string of releases ready to drop.
