Once known as DJ Lettis and later as one half of The Bidiots, now known just as Bidiot. In these other guises he spent his 20s and early 30s tearing up free party sound systems and living the dream with reckless abandon. Those years were a blur of endless nights, questionable dance moves, and far too many regret-laden takeaway wraps. Eventually, even Bidiot had to admit it was time to step away. He swapped late night convoys for early morning commutes and packing down sound systems to tidying up toys. He told himself he’d left the chaos behind.

Now in his 40s, deep in the throes of a midlife crisis, Bidiot has decided to reconnect with his past rather than run from it. Instead of buying a sports car or a terrible tie collection, he’s channeling his energy into bass-heavy bleeps, bloops, donks, and wobs that refuse to fit neatly into any genre. This project? It’s his unapologetic version of a comb-over: a little tragic, undeniably filthy, and uniquely his.

At this point, Bidiot probably should know better… but let’s be honest, where’s the fun in that?

Dave Skywalker has always been into electronic music. By 1986, at the age of 8 he was listening to US house music, having purchased his first record - Steve Silk Hurleys "Jack Your Body" - and was already annoying his neighbours with that "boom boom boom" music.

Playing at house parties from 1994 and in clubs from 1997, Dave Skywalker travels all over the country, across Europe, the USA and Canada, and predominately plays high energy, multi-genre rave sets spanning techno & breakbeat to breakcore and gabber.

Dave was nominated in the 2006 Old Skool Awards as best up and coming DJ and also at the 2006 Musik4You awards for best new producer, and in 2010 he was nominated in the Nu Rave awards under various categories, ending up runner-up for best DJ and best producer, and winning the award for best radio show. He now plays weekly on Kniteforce Radio and has been a staple of Breakpirates since 2003. Involved in numerous labels, he's managed Endor Recordings since 2010.

While remaining Bang Face's resident DJ since 2006, Dave has played at the old skool legendary raves such as Fantazia, Dreamscape, and Raindance, and the newest emerging rave nights coming from the likes of London, Bristol and Sheffield. His energy behind the decks is something to be seen, and when not behind the decks he's in front of them in the crowd. Finally, people say he's a top bloke, which is nice.
