Spending years examining dance floors across his Native North America, Aidan Kennedy is a true student of the groove. Through touring extensively with his former project Wrestlers, Kennedy saw an opportunity to explore what causes people to lose their inhibitions and surrender their bodies to music. Having supported premier dance acts and DJ's like Disclosure, Flume, Armand Van Helden, Kenny Dope, Nick Murphy (AKA Chet Faker), Cut Copy, Chromeo, and more, Kennedy honed his craft, and established his signature sound. Now, after spending the pandemic locked away in his studio, he emerges with a new offering of songs, and a completely new style of live-performance. After receiving an exclusive premiere of his new material on BBC6, being quoted as being one of Houston legends Khruangbin’s favorite acts, Kennedy is poised for a strong year ahead.
