Each Friday at 10 am a library supporter from the Chama Valley reads an excerpt from a book at the Eleanor Dagget Memorial Library in Chama, NM, to encourage literacy and let folks know what newly arrived books are available to be checked out.
Today's bookteaser comes from The Noodlemaker of Kalimpong, a semi auto-biographical account from the brother of the Dalai Lama, Gyalo Thondup, set during China's invasion of Tibet, and narrated by Lori Glover. The flame will not die.

A jolly crowd joins host Monika Varn in KXJR Eagle's station in December of 2022 to share the fun and details of the annual winter market, the Christmas Stroll to various businesses with caroling, and the community tree lighting. Anita Massari, the Director of Chama Valley Arts, shares the who, what, where of featured artists along the stroll. Matt Koppel of Corner Stone lets folks know what festivities and offerings the downtown businesses have available, and The Filliowich's  share caroling logistics and sing a few Christmas carols.
