The two artist depict a journey through their lives and paint a picture of hope and new beginnings after sharing personal life stories of them growing up in new orleans, the group goes on to talk about better days and up lifting vibes letting people know there's always a glimpse of light when surrounded by darkness.

Flightera newly release single "black amerikkka" touches on the trouble times in our society. After the killing of Alton Sterling we came to reliazation that instead of making progress we have been reverting back to old times. Being artists from New Orleans, the brutal killing of Alton Sterling really had an impact on us because its so close to home. It's one thing to hear about someone being killed that's far away , but it touches you differently when it's close to home because now you feel like that could have been you or one of your family members.
