A renegade bard with a guitar and a grin, an outlaw quick to draw his 6-string and fire off a revolutionary tune. Kye Gordon aka Kyle Gordon Hough is an all-original poet, artist, and musician born in Seattle Washington in 1989 and raised around the Blues, classic rock, and folk music, as well as the well known local grunge and alternative Seattle scene of the 90’s and early millennium. With his mother a pianist, and his uncles all guitar players, he had many an influence, and a teacher. He has been a songwriter since his chidhood, and has evolved his style into a genre of folk/soul and funk/rock. Exploring more worldly genres of music later in life, he began recognizing music as the universal language, an innate part of all existence. He believes deeply in the awakening and motivating power music holds as a catalyst to create change. Aiming to inspire others into action with his message, he advocates for free will, freedom of expression, and conscious purposeful action in life. Over the last few years, Kye has been making his way around to play in a handful of cities, as well as at a number music and arts festivals including Flow Fest and Thrive Fest in Hawaii, Project Earth and Shangri La festivals at Harmony Park in Minnesota, Tribal Visions Festival and Solar Punk Festival in Texas, and will be touring in Texas for the summer of 2021. Kye has an official single he released in January 2020 called “The Trial”, recorded at Peel Studios in Seattle Washington with audio engineer and producer Michael Springer. He is currently working on an EP and a full album. The 5 song EP is expected to be released this summer of 2021, with the full 13 track album to follow in the fall.
