KYL was born and raised in Penarth, a small town near Cardiff, Wales. KYL found his love for music through church at a young age and by 9 years old began playing the drums and the piano. 
Growing up, KYL listened to Micheal Jackson, Chris Brown and Whitney Houston, All of whom have influenced his taste of various musical genres to create a fused soulful R&B sound with a twist of pop.
KYL’s industry literacy has allowed him to go from strength to strength and now KYL is ready to open the next chapter of his musical career as a solo artist, going to new heights in fulfilling his dreams.
