 Illuvia was born from the dissolution of Alveol (@alveolis) and Ziyal (@ziyal_dnb) and will continue their aural legacy by being a vessel for deep atmospheric expressions in the realm of electronic dance music. 

While it sometimes feels like we are lost in the dark, music can be a medium through which the light reaches us. This is the primary meaning and intent behind Illuvia.

the gloomy forest, the gray fog over the open mine, people in everyday life, 
levitating echoes and a deep underlying black cloud with shallow-patronized droplets. 
this optical and audible symbiosis inspires “sub.made” to create, experiment and
 to make music. far away from the current electronic consumption in his area, 
he produces spherical ambient combined with field recordings up to deep techno.

Music lover and avid supporter of those who thrill me with soundz. 


Brickman creates music at the intersection of dub techno, deep house, and ambient. The artist employs multilayered sound textures, classic dub echoes and reverberations, electronic rhythms, and deep sub-bass components—achieving a unique signature sound.


The project's first release came out in 2010. Collaborating with Russian and European labels, Brickman has released his work on vinyl, CD, and in digital format. His tracks have been supported in the DJ sets of John Digweed, Marco Carola, Hernan Cattaneo, Deepchord, Kirk Degiorgio, and Nadja Lind.


From 2010 to 2019, Brickman was actively performing live sets and DJ sets at venues in St. Petersburg, including clubs Stackenshneider, Mosaique, Efir, Griboyedov, MOD, and Berthold Center, as well as on the airwaves of RTS.FM and Vinyl Jam, and at festivals like Abstraction and "Vperyodsmotryashchiy" (The Forward-Looking). Brickman participated in the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp and created soundscapes for a number of art exhibitions.


Since 2022, the project has continued in a studio format. To craft his distinctive sound, the artist uses analog and digital synthesizers, samplers, along with various types of processing, synthesis techniques, and audio workmanship.
