Featured in Guitar Player Magazine back in November of 2006 with a review by editor & chief Mr.Michael Molenda for the track "Mind's Collide" with Begley's former project Solartistic.
Here are Mr. Molenda's comments of Begley's work- (“Mind’s Collide” Trippy stuff, here, but it’s also very commercially smart in the sense that it inserts a beguiling melody amongst the song’s bizarre swoops, noises, and cascading echoes. Guitarist J.S. Begley evokes Bridge of Sighs-era Robin Trower, and then starts playing like a Tasmanian Devil on crack. Fabulous. 

Although his guitar playing is a sound & style of it's own, he's been compared to such artist's as Robin Trower, Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa & a Tasmanian Devil !? just to name a few by fans & critics.

 J.s. Begley is a true artist in the sense of his passion & love for the music.
