Steady Slurkin'

Not sure what to call this song yet, but I finally got around to finishing it. I've had the lyrics lying around for a while, and I guess I misplaced them in the move. But I recently found them and decided to polish it up and post it, since it's been a little while since I actually posted a decent tune. The guitar solo was done using my old 70's Maestro Phaser (the picture). Everything else is straight forward. The reverb sounds good. Really starting to love recording in the bathroom. Enjoy!

This is probably the first, complete, song that i ever wrote, that didn't suck. wrote down the lyrics and music one day at the community college in tahoe, and recorded it all on my buddy brian collins' laptop in a couple hours. also the first song i ever wrote a vocal harmony on (which you can kinda tell because it's pretty simple). but it's dear to my heart, and a few of my friends' hearts as well. enjoy.

I've been writing music since I was about 16. I started out recording on my folks' old desktop with a terrible USB mic. I eventually upgraded some equipment, learned a new program, and have been posting ever since. I'm originally from the bay area and have lived there off and on for about 13 years, but have lived and grown in South Lake Tahoe for 20 years of my life, so this is my true home. I've played in several bands and with dozens of musicians here, professionally, since I was about 16 years old. I love it, it's my full time job, but my dream is to have my original songs reach as many people as possible.
