Happily dwelling amongst the moodier sides of 2-Step, UKG and jungle, Club Angel has cut a name for himself since the release of his debut EP, '6AM' (out via Astral People Recordings) whilst whipping up remixes and edits for the likes of Fred Again.., North East Party House and a beloved anthemic rework of 'Make Me'. With 2023 already having featured performances at Pitch Music & Arts, Digi Culture & Music and Xe54 - plus a forthcoming upcoming national tour in support of Sam Alfred and a debut set at LS on the horizon - it's safe to say this mix has been compiled by one of our favourite angels. Enjoy! 👼🏻

In his own words:

“I’ve included a few of my own tracks in this mix, but the one that gets me most excited is an unreleased one titled ‘5ive’. It’s a bit of a warper; the perfect mix of hard house and speed garage.

An artist I’ve recently discovered is UK-based, Jack Swift. I randomly stumbled across his edit of Lennie De Ice’s track ‘We Are I.E’ and waited at least 4 months for it to come out. I’ve also included an unreleased one from Naarm’s Airwolf Paradise titled ‘Revolver’ - it’s an absolute highlight to play in any set.

The track I’m most looking forward to playing at Lost Sundays is my edit of the iconic Denham Audio track, ‘Make Me’. Everyone ends up singing along so it always makes for a beautiful moment.” - @clubangel

You can't miss MALUGI. The Berlin-based artist is the vibrant force who blends house, glitzy pop and in the shadowy enclaves of nightclubs worldwide, exuding warmth, charisma, and joy across the dancefloor. With tours spanning Europe and Australia, the DJ and producer has shared his elated sounds in spaces like Munich's Blitz and London's The Cause.

At home in Germany, MALUGI is a MELT festival regular and hosts his party Club Heart Broken at Watergate, adding fun and sparkle into Berlin's techno-heavy scene. Unapologetically zany as a producer, MALUGI's tracks like 'Reach Out' and 'Really Happy' landed on the BBC Radio One airwaves and received plays from Gerd Janson and Tiesto.

Following his Boiler Room debut in December last year, 2024 marks MALUGI's launch of Club Heart Broken as a record label, alongside more milestones in the making. While being labelled one of the spearheads of rave revival over the past few years, Dublin native Tommy Holohan has done much more than attach himself to a trend throughout his rise to the tip of every techno fan's tongue. Having leapfrogged his way to the top of the Irish pecking order through releases on his own Rave Selekts label alongside an appearance on Dax J's Monnom Black, plus Skull Crushing Techniques Volumes 1 and 2 on the Berlin-based imprint HAVEN, his popularity has swung further inland as he rises the European ranks, thanks to his unrelenting techno style that infuses the intensity of UK sounds with the driving techno we've come to expect from mainland Europe.

With his productions doing the rounds online and in record shops, he himself leaves nothing on the table when it comes to his selection, having gotten the nod from Boiler Room last year where he delivered one of the most memorable festival sets the online platform has seen. All the while, he has uprooted dance floors in Griessmuehle, Corsica Studios, District 8, Life Festival. With nods from established techno heads such as Blawan, SPFDJ, Sunil Sharpe, DJ Stingray, Helena Hauff and more, he has carved out a respected name that is only growing on a weekly basis.
