This playlist exists for those songs which hover somewhere between 'uneasy calm' and outright combat. Instrumentation doesn't matter too much here, so long as it matches the uneasy tone without pushing too far into fast-paced action.

I suggest keeping the volume lower, as a lot of these tense songs have a natural buildup in OSTs and might get a bit louder towards the end.

Here's an original piece of music I wrote a while back (it was a project that fell through) but forgot about. It's a slow building piece written to play about with some percussive ideas. It's not the most action-packed piece but I figured someone might find a use for it in their YouTube video or game. This is a song dedicated to Billy from the VenturianTale universe. Now, usually he isn't this dramatic, but this song is based off of a fanfiction that a friend of mine is making. Happy 2nd Anniversary, Fallout Tale! Man, this series, though. It gave me so many feels, I can't even count how many times I was almost in tears. This song was originally supposed to be for an animation based off of Episode 36, where Cywren follows in her father's footsteps and walks into the radiation-filled room to save the wastelands. How many feels can you get, right? TuT But anyway, here it is! Hope you all enjoy. (The lyrics ARE in Japanese, but I will post the English translation soon.)
