Combining elements of classic rock, soul, and swamp rock into something fresh - three musicians set out to create something of a retro rock hybrid. Forming melodic and catchy song structures with dynamic and unique percussion, they aim to re-introduce the 60's and 70's music they grew up on with a modern twist.

Opposed1 is the solo project of Oregon based multi-instrumentalist Matty J. 

Although Matty is primarily known as front man and guitarist for The Legendary Goodtimes ( http://soundcloud.com/legendarygoodtimes ) this solo project focuses heavily on electronica and unusual rhythms. Each song is created layer by layer and all music and vocals are written performed and recorded by Matty.
