A friend asked me to write a song for her wedding - one she could walk down the aisle to on her big day. What an honor! I was so happy to do this for her. As I started writing, I couldn't help but to think of my wife. It quickly became a love song that I was writing for her. I love you so much, Christiana. And thank you, Catherine - for giving me the opportunity to write this song!

There Is Sweet Music Here

Another month, and another cunning plan in preparation for next year.  So far, I have experimented with hexachords, heptachords and octachords, can you guess what the focus will be in November?  In homage to the unpredictability of human creativity I have decided to explore the pentachord!  Today’s #MusicalMinute has that eastern feel that is often associated with the major pentatonic.  What do you think?
