First up its 'Athos Araujo', a fellow Brazilain producer of Andre Sobota, who takes on "Fallout" and delivers a punchy phat stomper, big bass, and techie edged, but then a magical stabby melodic drop to the raise the roof! Big!

To Argentina we go next, and 'Marcelo Vasami' drops a wondrous deep melodic reworking, creating an intense atmospheric voyage. No wonder this young man is rising through the musical ranks. Hot!

'Southern Sundance' gets remixed next, and its 'Neil Browne', who stomps things up, handing us a fine slab of melodic deep techno that builds to an arpy detuned peak. Solid stuff!

And rounding off the package, its 'Pete Bones' who provides a warm smile inducing cuddle of a remix. Beautiful pads wrap around you, as intricate layers exchange effortlessly as we meander along nicely.

It has been almost 6 years since our last release on our sub-imprint Supérieur, which was reserved for special and very unique tracks needing a special placement.

Lars von Licht’s "From Arrows“ is exactly one of this sort: An almost 15min live jam, both simple and sophisticated. A track for special moments and for special people, perfect for reanimating Supérieur. One of the first persons whom I gave this tune last year's summer was Lee Burridge, who played it straight away at Burning Man.

Admittedly, this release took some time, but we wanted to find the right moment and the right remixer. We considered many options but came back to one of our own people in the end.

Dodi Palese who released his Connaisseur debut earlier this year, felt like the right person to challenge this track and we were right. He has transformed it into a tribalistic high energy bomb, with an unexpected, big synth theme, blowing you away.

Yes, we are more than happy about this release and it was well worth the wait.

PlattenBank Records hits release number 63 with the help of Dale Middleton. He serves up two chunky tracks of effective house music that proves why he is one of the hottest names in the game right now. 

Middleton has played all over Argentina, India and Europe, has had his tunes played by Pete Tong on his Essential Selections on BBC Radio 1 and counts the likes of Agoria and Sasha & Digweed as fans. He has played at Bedrock parties and releases on labels like Sex on Wax and Flow Vinyl, impressing once more here. 

The first cut is a spiritual and cosmic number that has many lush layers of synths filled with sci-fi colour up top. The drums are warm and rubbery and the whole thing encourages you to lose yourself in the melodies and look up to the starry night sky. Night Stories is next and is a darker track, but again is a cavernous construction with drums down low and lots of skyward synths up top. It’s epic in nature and expertly produced to really cast a spell on the dance floor.

2018 was quite the year for Stripped Recordings! While welcoming a plethora of new talent, the label continued honing its most promising proteges. With work for Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, Fernando Ferreyra’s Dreamers and Tiësto's legendary “In Search Of Sunrise” comp series, Lucas Rossi reaffirmed that illustrious title. Soon to release music via the likes of R&S Records and Crosstown Rebels, Javier Orduna makes his comeback on Exploited Ghetto.

"Gaelito" hits you immediately with its thumping bottom end and head-nodding shakers, with echoing claps and propulsive hi-hats soon combining to formulate a driving groove. Brooding, swirling bass and synth leads lurk menacingly beneath, a teasing filter action keeping them on a leash for the time being. The percussion continues to build as one bold synth melody courageously breaks through the filter barrier, promising something more heady to come with its gently triumphant mood. 

But instead restraint is the watchword here. Delicate arpeggios twinkle like stars as we head towards the sumptuous, stripped-back breakdown. As we return to the groove, the sweet synth motifs continue to filter in and out of focus, and with careful placement provide a gentle ebb and flow which makes this track a perfect set-builder.
