This kind of reminds me of older 90s/2000s beats where the production almost has a sort of woodwind feel to it. Like sitting by a fireplace with a Lofi vinyl playing. Speaking of vinyl, there's a certain texture to the sounds that feel a bit scratchy, especially considering the distortion on most of the mix. Said distortion helps to give the track more girth and really make the sub presence a big part of the experience. Next, the vocals. The vocals fit very well with the vibe you're going for. They feel wide, and the emotion coming from them fits with the hip-hop-ish aesthetic this track exudes. The pauses/bridges also really echo the hip-hop sentiment, specifically older beats like the ones my mom introduced me to back in the 2010s, as a personal note. The choice of drums are especially satisfying, helping to aid the Lofi-esque vibe I mentioned before. Very dry and clear cutting in the mix, although the snare specifically could be slightly shiner in the upper-mids for snappyness.(1/?)

The tempo transition into this part feels smooth and not forced, with some extra risers and other SFX. I could tell you care about your transitions through these small details alone. Now, the drum choice changes here, which is an excellent compliment to what is an entire tempo change and is a great choice alone. and the particular choice OF drums is also good. Snappy and sharp, which speak to the increased distortion and the small synths that appear throughout.  (2/?)

This part right here, might be my favorite. The arp like synths feel playful, almost like a good friend saying "bye" at school. They also add a very nice "shine factor" aiding that "friendly" feel and almost cute if you will. Then, the thumpy kicks and the snaps make this a great breakdown. They create a flow and also their own atmosphere as small shiny noses fill the background. Very good attention to detail, because most of the mix is filled perfectly and engaging to listeni to on headphones ESPECIALLY. As for the actual fade out, I also have some things to say. Filtering the other sounds, using different vocals, and making the sub modulate a bit? Chef's kiss. Reminds me of beastboi.'s production (see Dance Revolution and Act Like Dat for reference). Personal note, I love when artists fade out vocals that repeat on the reverb. Feels nostalgic almost. (3/4)

All in all, excellent. Clean, creative production. Good mix that plays around with sounds throughout the stereo field, good vocal usage/processing A fun beat that manages to have character and would be something I would consider playing at a cookout. Personal ranking: 8.5/10 (4/4)
