Jesús Flores no toca para impresionar, sino para confesar — con alma, silencio y verdad.

Con guitarra acústica y violonchelo, respondo a ese lenguaje.
Esta pieza es mi silencioso “gracias”, dedicada a un artista que me enseñó que la verdadera música no necesita escenario — sólo honestidad.

"For Jesús" is more than an instrumental track – it is a gesture of gratitude to a musician whose strings speak beyond words.
Jesús Flores plays the guitar not to impress, but to confess – with soul, silence and truth.

With acoustic guitar and cello, I offer my reply to that language. This piece is my silent thank you, to an artist who showed me that real music needs no stage – only sincerity.

He composed this in 1971 for an Italian movie called Maddalena, and reused it in 1981 for the beautiful final scene of the French movie Le Professionnel starring Jean-Paul Belmondo who insisted on using this music. It was also reused in some other movies and TV series and is famous in French pop culture thanks to a memorable dog food TV ad for Royal Canin, where the music is used while a dog is running in slow motion.

The instrument is a Clavia Nord Stage 2, using a Bösendorfer sampled grand piano with some echo, and strings I control with an expression pedal, well, try to control.
