We’re going to take you on a ride to the deep corners of drum’n’bass with this release… Having a beautiful cinematic orchestral breakdown in the middle of his remix, Chris.su, who needs no real introduction to drum’n’bass music lovers, kickstarts the release. This track would go perfect for any drive-by scenes in your imaginary movies - just as much as the ground-shaking version of Mob Ties that handles such a vocal arrangement which will always keep your car on the right track! This arrangement worths paying attention to with its fat and killer badass bass-lines.
The release couldn’t be round without offering a proper banger for your imaginary fighting scenes too. Thus, the wrestler of serious beats, Groove Mind comes into the picture. A returning artist to our label, he knows pretty well how to please the crowd - injecting some dope video-game-soundscapes into his neuro rework. Meanwhile, no closure of a release would be perfect without travelling to the Far East. They are inseparable allies & horrible foes, cursed with this fate by a power unknown. They were, they are, and they will be again, and perhaps at this moment they call each other “friend.” Yet in their next life that same term may invoke bile, anger for the twin each so utterly reviles. Thus it is that their story may be told with one single word, that modern term FRENEMIES which is so often heard.

TOBAX summons the kindred spirits of the EATBRAIN horde with his FRENEMIES EP, which follows his 2019 EP “Seized Moment” EP and an appearance on the “Divergence II” compilation as the next part of a long collaborative history between himself and EATBRAIN. From the titular collaboration with MC KRYPTOMEDIC to the uniquely melodic 12 INCHES, FRENEMIES features four full frontal & furious Drum & Bass tracks in the style for which TOBAX is so well known.
