Bristol producer & DJ edetto comes correct on his return to Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT imprint, supplying three summer rumblers on the ‘We Don’t Know’ EP, arriving right at the peak of festival season.  

edetto has seen a wave of recent releases permeate the techno scene, landing numbers on established labels such as Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains, Ackerman’s Safe Space imprint, as well as previous entries into the EI8HT catalogue.

Renowned music label KD RAW, founded by celebrated DJs and producers Kaiserdisco, is on the verge of a groundbreaking milestone: on August 18, 2023, the label will celebrate its 100th release. Italian producer & DJ Carmine Portarulo, otherwise known as The Southern, lays down a 4-part package for Kneaded Pains titled ‘SWAMP EP’

Portarulo found a passion for techno music as a late teen, and inspired by producers such as Truncate, Carlo Lio, Ben Sims & DJ Rush, the aspiring artist begin producing under his ‘The Southern’ moniker.

With releases landing on label EI8HT, CLR, Truncate and MOOD, The Southern extends his discography further with a quartet of bangers filled with dark, moody grooves and pacey rhythms.

Here’s my latest single, Hypnospire -- created in my home studio as a boundary-pushing hybrid of Psytrance and Techno. Premiered live on August 28, 2025, in South Lake Tahoe as part of a Station Seven Productions event, this track is designed to ignite deep flow states and collective euphoria.

Built in Ableton Live with Push2, AKAI MPK MiniPlus, Faderport 8, and a MacBook, Hypnospire channels immersive basslines, trippy melodies, and rolling grooves that move bodies and minds. It’s the next step in my sonic journey, connecting the vibes of my previous release, Dimensual, and opening the portal to my upcoming track, Astradive.

He is a Slovakia born Dj and producer currently living in Sydney, Australia.
In a fairly short period of time has already gained support from international artists, releasing on labels such as Gain Records, Black Kat, Mavic Music, Boiler Underground Records, Oscuro Music, Bubblejam and many more.
