I had the immense pleasure to invite Asad Rizvi aka Silverlining on Rinse.fm. The first 45 mn I'm playing a selection of old school vinyls from the late 90's and start at 00:43 start the one hour mix of Silverlining follow by an interview that was way to short on my opinion...
Asad Rizvi aka Silverlining is one of the most prolific music producers of the late 90's early 00's made in UK If you are a Discogs digger you probably don't need an introduction!

Last 29 of june I was back at Rinse, this time my guest was Mathilde Rocaboy.  
Mathilde worked at udo, a bar I used to DJ, after the closing we decied to continue the fun at my house with some friends and I invite her to come..I knew so little of her when she arrive with her bag full of vinyls, she played 8 hours for us and each track was so special we were all very impressed by her taste in music! Since then I couldn't wait to invite her to play and share the music she likes.
The first hour is a set of ambient breakbeat, techno, one hour of pure joy from Mathilde fallow by some talk and a final back to back in the studios!

Here you can lessen to my set recorded yesterday night at Hotel Radio Paris, I've try to speak a bit but apparently I still need to learn how to lower the music down when I do so 🎙also I prepare a 100% vinyl set and played with turntables audiotecnica so it was a bit awkward as it was the first time and I felt there are quiet different on the touch from the technics I always play with, but got use to it by the end. I feel there is a lot's of things I want to improve when it comes to play at the radio, but really having a regular radio show is one of my dream, I feel it's the best way for me to communicate with music ... I hope you'll enjoy it. Special dédicace to Steve C. Huerta played your last track on Small Hours (around 00:34mn), to D'julz for giving me a special edit of the last track I played in my set, and finally to Jeremy Gauvman et Thomas Chauveaux from Beau Mot Plage that gave me a good tip with the after 6 a.m track!

First hour I'm mixing a selection of classic italien sunny house vibe, some 90s uk raping to, on the second hour my friend Barousse is playing 1 hour of dark electro, break beat and "lutzienne" techno, that's why I choose to call this mix of two hours "le jour et la nuit" :)

Dear listeners, we are proud to introduce you to https://soundcloud.com/l-i-v-i-a , even if some of you know her as being a mainstay of the European underground scene for some years. 

As a teenager, the half italian / half French dj was already listening to FG radio - back in the days you could hear underground music with radioshows hosted by Dj Deep and Laurent Garnier. When she moved to Roma at the sweet age of 18, she discovered the thursdays at the notorious Goa Club and decided to film a documentary about the electronic scene the year after, interviewing the biggest names in the game at that time - they are still the same now. With the documentary being funded by a MTV holding, Livia buys her turntables and her first records. 
After a stop in NYC where she creates Blindbeat, a video clip production company, she flies back to Europe and begins to play in various clubs, being a full time Dj since a Cercle show put her on the international map. Over the years our Dj started to miss a proper balance and eventually got back to the movie side, assisting the realisation of documentaries for Arte and France 5, while selecting the gigs she really enjoys.

This podcast is a light taste of what Livia has been collecting over her carreer and has been playing recently, with a summer flava we all miss now. Fun fact: the mix has been recorded at D’julz’ place, another Paris hero Livia got to know while filming her first documentary, 14 years ago and being friends since then.

But now Let’s dive into this podcast and skip the winter, already jumping in summer 2020.
