This isn’t the easiest thing for me to say, but I’m only delaying the inevitable by staying quiet. As of today, the Excess Content Tournament is officially cancelled.

There are a multitude of reasons why we have made this decision (some I world personally rather not discuss), however I want to assure you that none of them are out of disdain for the project itself or the grander tournament community as a whole. While EC didn’t work out, and there are definitely things I would have done differently, I in no way regret starting EC. Working on this project has been a blast, and I’ve gotten some great opportunities and met some even greater people through it.

I won’t leave you empty handed however, we’re gonna show off some of what we had prepared before production stopped, including some cut/scrapped content, and maybe even something special at the end. If I’m not too busy expect some of that to drop throughout the upcoming week.

I’m not sure if I’ll get around to doing another tournament-type project in the future (believe me, I have ideas), but even if I don’t I want to thank everyone who’s stayed with us this long. It genuinely means the world to me that people were interested enough in this silly little tournament to stick around.

Contrary to the length of this track, this was pretty low-effort. Also listening to this feels like someone doing the fortinte default dance on someone else's grave, if you get the vibe i'm describing.
Also, the among us kill sound effect at 'killing me inside' is just a happy coincidence.

It's been now more than a year since I've uploaded something on this account. I hope my upload schedule will be pretty much the same as it was at the time...

 Concerning this mashup, I just want to point out that it is actually the first one in which I used crescendo effect, which was something I never did before and which I've learned so how to do it. It's good because I feel like that it's gonna be useful for other mashups than this one. 

By the way I apologize for the mixing which might be not really good. Oddly enough it lowered the volume of both songs when together, even when I increase the whole mashup, besides the fact that they sound completely normal intrinsically.

Don't remember what came over me when i made this one, since it was so long ago. I'm pretty sure i remembered choosing the dk rap for the first part since it worked tempo wise, that "there is an Impostor Among Us" because it kinda sounds like it rhythmically, But i don't know why i used wonderwall... 'Guess that lil' fact is gonna be lost to time.
Anyways i'm also pretty proud of that Among Us in the track art. It looks pretty good! (even more impressive when you take into account that i didn't have access to the raw files or the pc version, but had to edit screenshots made with the switch version  by first scaling them down to 1:1 size, editing and blowing them up to look better.)

Just felt like taking https://soundcloud.com/baldimorelol/snow-mogus and just absolutely mutilating the audio by just cutting and pasting it at will like a madmen, creating this. First only took the regular audio, then regular + reversed (and guy screaming among us) for some of that ytp soos sound, and then mixed the original + guy screaming among us + Among us drip remix to really make it sound like stage 4 amogus disease.
man, among us really is the lab rat on which i test odd editing 'techniques' huh?
