Slanted Ash writes music that is introspective, thoughtful and playful in equal measure, expertly exploring complex emotional states with subtle, surprising humour. 

A multi-instrumentalist, Slanted Ash’s music is informed by time spent in places as diverse as Idaho, Arizona, Boston, Northern California and the Pacific Northwest, but Slanted Ash traces the religious chanting she learnt growing up in the Christian Orthodox church as one of her most formative influences.
