Here is my new single Depths. I'm currently working on a lot of exciting projects with jazz musicians and meanwhile I'm trying to do some boom bap projects as well again. The vibe is the same as always.... I'm working a lot on new sound with my friends. So there will be a lot of music from us this year.

I was too gassed when I first came up with the concept for this remix and thought it was crazy, which is mad interesting now that I listen back to it and only hear the major flaws: https://soundcloud.com/tapeheadloops/times-limited

I’d been producing for about a year at that point, so I wasn’t experienced enough to do the idea justice, it was more of an idea for a remix: the mix on the vocals was awful, and the flow wasn’t really on point because I didn’t chop up acapellas back then. I’m really happy to have managed to realise what I was going for in that original track, because the acapella is such a serious one, I remember reading somewhere (I think in an interview with Bobbito Garcia) that it took O.C. a year to write this song, and it fully shows. I think my favourite line is 'The more emotion I put into it, the harder I rock' cause it's just a straight fact, and was used by MF GRIMM on the hook for his track 'Emotions', which is crazy too.
