Útil Records returns with its seventh release, a split EP featuring Bad Pad from Barcelona and Spectrums Data Forces from Granada.

Bad Pad (Cyberdom and The Bandit) deliver two playful tracks, showcasing their distinctive take on electro where experimentation finds its place. Expect lush pad explorations, tight basslines following sharp rhythmic patterns that build mathematical structures. A blend of feline devotion, life changes, and sensitivity runs th-rough their sound.

Spectrums Data Forces brings three powerful cuts: high-caliber weapons with hard, syncopated beats loaded with energy and distortion. The second record from Ectomorph and second record for the label Interdimensional Transmissions, from 1995.

This is the first time it has been repressed in over a decade, and we’re using the original masters — coming from 2 wizards of Midwest Mastering. The A side was mastered by Mark Richardson at Metropolis (who later founded Prairie Cat Mastering) and the b side is complete with lock grooves cut by Ron Murphy.

For the digital version we have remastered the songs with Neel from Enisslab, and included some bonuses.
