The tyres let out a harsh screech as she pushed her foot down hard on the accelerator; she needed to get out of here, and quickly. The car lurched forward into the street and she was away, gradually getting faster and faster, her eyes fixated on her mirror to check whether they were on her tail yet. She was free for now but until she made it out of this godforsaken town, she knew she wasn't safe.

For his newest project, 'Next Wave Acid Punx', Berlin-based DJ and producer Curses brings together artists—past, present and future—for a celebration of his formative influences: new wave, EBM, post-punk and new beat. Released in three parts on Eskimo Recordings, the mammoth compilation features music from artists championing these sounds back in the 80s, like Yello, Front 242 and Suicide, to Curses' contemporaries, including Juan Maclean, Pablo Bozzi, Local Suicide, Skelesys and many more, who continue to draw inspiration from these early sonics.

The days were shorter and the nights were dark and cold, it was times like these that he dreamed and drifted off. He'd reminisce upon the sun kissed nights of the summer, when the air was warm and thick with love, if only we had one more night like that in which to dance. Wandering through the quiet streets he occasionally caught a glimpse into the homes and houses of the cities endless strangers, he wandered what life might be like in the ethereal bubble in which they lived. He was not a part of such a world, a lonely soul lost walking in the night, looking for the next place to go. 

Liam Mour is set to release a new EP, this one has a big dream house mood. Melancholy, emotional, deep, pensive club music at its very best.

Facets brings the release in with a dark, EBM:ish edit of Der whilst Manao then moves us over to a grittier, ghettotech:ish electro piece with Jane. From there we have recurring face for many, RFX, who does his usual brilliance on his take of Ambition. Our third and final new face, Ecar, then takes the relay baton and keeps the race going with Propaganda. Both tracks work in the sphere of where you want to kickstart the party to the next gear. We round off with our home team trio, where Miro-Benji and Stuster show their heavier, 4am sounds on Sonic 3D (yes… that Sonic) and Universal Music. Aaron Maple then puts the finishing touches with his signature sound on his Hot Day In Istanbul edit.

I'm a big big fan of John Rocca.
He has written and produced some of the best dance music, from Southern Freeez by Freeez, to The Crack Train by Midi Rain (my personal favourite). 
I Want It To Be Real is another fave of mine from 1984.
My House Remix is quite different to the original version which was mixed by Arthur Baker.

The dim glow cast a hazy flourish of light across the early morning sky. Soon it would fall beneath the surface of sight and the soft moon would vanish into the warm blue of daylight. In the greenhouse the flowers began to blossom and awaken beneath the first hint of the morning glow. The glass flickered beneath the glimmering beams and the murky green shadows within were illuminated and set alight. The rest of the park was quiet and still as the day broke. The night was gone. 

Coastdream is set to release a debut EP on X-Kalay who have consistently released music of supreme quality. This one is a sun kissed, summer ready house track with sublime form.
