'See Ya On The Dancefloor' : Have you say Techno Funk ? Yes It is. Something more melodic from the Don, with this bass slapping your face and the Hook 'And goes like this'. But It has also a massive Techno Beat. We ll see you shaking your booty on the dancefloor with this one, no doubt!

We're proud to present fresh club music styles for 2014 in the form of Jubilee's "Pull Ova", the new EP from Mixpak's Miami-to-Brooklyn transplant. "Pull Ova" connects the dots between cultures and genres in a way that is intuitive to Jubilee's history as a producer and DJ.

The A side “I-95” slams Jubilee's Miami Bass roots into a new dimension, cutting up iconic vocal signifiers and injecting them with a heavy dose of Brooklyn bass. The end result is a track that’s both timeless and right on time for the contemporary dancefloor.
On the flipside, "Pull Ova" feels like a lost 90's Armand Van Helden remix of a Miami Bass track, twisting snatches of diva vocals around a rugged bassline and freakout party sirens. This is party music for a new generation; jam it in your jeep on the way to the club.

Meanwhile, Salva gives "I-95" the dusted hard house treatment, banging the box in a way that recalls classic 90's labels like Dance Mania and Underground Construction but flipped with the modern DJ in mind. All three tracks on "Pull Ova" push the game forward without forgetting where it started. Only on Mixpak.

'Being born in the late 80s Eastern Europe, Gemfire managed to catch a lot that 90s vibe and although he started making music in the digital era of the late 00s he was always in the search of THAT particular 90s sound which is possible to achieve only using the gear and techniques from that era. That's why this EP was a sort of challenge: the intention was to produce a few tracks using only an MPC 2000XL from 1999 and nothing more. '

'Sikk Traxx' EP will remind you of the times when you could get into the club only if your name was hand written on a piece of paper and passed to the bouncer by a friend who 'knows some people' with those tight, punchy and minimalistic 808s of the 'Sikk Trakk 1' and those hard hitting 909s of 'Sikk Trakk 2' will make your booty bounce up and down spontaneously.
