This mix explores the influences of The Chemical Brothers using funky tracks including 80’s and 90’s Big Beat, Acid House and Synthwave.

If you love 808 and 909 Drum Machines, squelchy 303 acid, synthesisers with plenty of scratching and MC'ing then this is the mix for you.

The Chemical Brothers alongside The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, The Crystal Method, and other fellow acts, they were pioneers at bringing the big beat genre to the forefront of pop culture.

The mix has been put together using Cutting and Scratching techniques from the time with more of an emphasis on composition and flow.  

Get ready for a journey through 80’s and 90’s Rave & Pop Culture and a celebration of the spirit of Pirate Radio.
