This song is for my old bosses in the last job I worked in. Hard to call them bosses with the ethos the company had. I haven't worked for them since 2021 but they left a lasting positive impression on my life and this is to properly appreciate that in what I do now.

I'd like to dedicate the song to their Mum, Monica Baker who passed away last year. Rest in peace Monica.

Monica was a wonderful person and superb musician, cello being her main focus musically so I popped a cello or two in there as a hat tip to that and what Monica chose as one of her expertise.

Their Dad is a very inspiring individual who in the zone I know him for ... is one of the hardest workers I've ever come across and taught me deeply and directly how to get things done in life. He truly leads by example or the most direct chats you'll ever have... That depended on your performance... I received both the hairdryer and the passive example thankfully haha...

Colin and Wesley are brothers and they run the show.

Before I worked for them I worked for a company called Into IT. I personally did really well but unfortunetly bad management ran it into the ground inspite of all our efforts keeping it above water. Colin visited me in that shop one day towards the end and brought a tear when he told me it was me that kept the place a float for so long. Our supplier Paul must have made him believe that (though I had great help from the inside too) I developed a skill for putting out fires I didn't light. So I rang Colin after a month or so and we never looked back until I went my direction. It was a truly amazing feeling though to hear that initial appreciation for what I had poured my soul into in Into IT... Not long after that I locked the door of the store I didn't own for the last time and felt like I had failed... I cried my eyes out man but knew I had done my best, my reputation intact and Colins voice in my head for those moments of pain was nice..

I remember my first meeting we all went out for lunch. Test # 1 I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu and confidently said.. Don't worry lads I'll pay you back or maybe I was just thinking that... But it was a funny ice breaker all the same 

The most memorable interaction skill I learned from Maruisz which I think he learned on an Irish times course on conflict resolution... It's a question for difficult interactions when there is a disagreement and that is you ask the person...
"What would you like me to do to?" When dealing with any rational person stressed or not, it's an incredible leveler that allows both people to figure out the reality of the situation by spelling out the actual solutions and the focus is shifted from the other problems that have been created for both parties but are not actually relevant to the solution

I was going to change my name man.... But feck that!

I've been pondering whether my positive meaning for it, which is understand the bad to find & know the good/light... So the Dark is Beautiful because we wouldn't see our way without it... Our old thinking references maybe before we evolved to absorb light on any existential, societal or Earthly issue...

My doubt comes from that being lost in translation with it the label it is...

I'm TBD forever as the music has to reflect my reality and I guess I measure the success from my music with that being right as opposed to branding it to gain monetary affluence. True affluence comes from knowledge and happiness. True success is understanding yourself and the world in my view.

We shall keep singing about light/good from the dark. Schweet... Where's that straight jacket...


I over do this sometimes. I guess trying to be militarily positive in the face of military like negativity... It's hard to know when to stop sometimes. I'm sorry if I've gone too far for you at any stage. I've always meant well and only want to try and find a way to cancel out the indifference we see around us. I know I can't fix it... But I can maybe show how I'm trying to fix it for myself and I know for me personally it took that extreme positivity to get rid of that extreme negativity in my head... So here's hoping for more balance going forward and we don't ruin any special connections anymore...
