Techno and (ro)-minimal DJ based in Bristol

Former brand manager of Room 303 and Sister Sounds nights in Exeter, she helped curate techno nights and charitable dance music events, supporting femme artists. Lexia Majora is a (mainly) techno DJ, emphasising playfulness, wonky and intriguing sounds in her sets. She specialises in hardgroove techno, but also minimal techno and house, dub techno and classic house. Lexia Majora played at many club nights and a dance music festival in Exeter supporting artists such as Daniel Avery, Afrodeutsche, Peach and DJ Boring. She headlined an EPIKA night in Edinburgh, in the summer of 2023, playing a fiery hardgroove techno set. She also curated mixes for the radio and online platforms, and wrote her Sociology PhD thesis on the ro-minimal community, exploring the ro-minimal genre, fandom, gender, technology and healing in this scene.

Desire to jack your body. And, as I told you before, this is
Our house and our house music. And in every house, you
Understand, there is a keeper. And, in this house, the keeper
Is Jack. Now some of you who might wonder.
Who is Jack, and what is it that Jack does?
Jack is the one who gives you the power to jack your body!
Jack is the one who gives you the power to do the snake.
Jack is the one who gives you the key to the wiggly worm.
Jack is the one who learns you how to walk your body.
Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all
Jackers together under one house.
You may be black, you may be white; you may be Jew or Gentile.
It don't make difference in our House.
And this is fresh!
