Media Blackout presents Greek 80’s disco kings Evanton’s – Hillside Stranger EP, due for release on November 24th, 2014. Their signature sound influenced by disco, 80’s poly synth and smooth house resonates throughout their original music which is upbeat, atmospheric with a some great pads and iconic fills. It’s fun with summertime vibes always shining thru that will help you get up and get a move on.  Their debut EP comprises of 2 forward thinking 80’s inspired disco tracks.

The opening track ‘Hillside Stranger’ is a moody & groovy synth driven tune with a cheeky vibe that leaves a long lasting impression. The second cut ‘Memories’ is a perfect example of how Evanton are able to revitalise dated sounds and give them new shine, adding a stunning Jupiter 8 synth line combined with a long ethereal pad, which rounds off the release perfectly and feels like the monumental end to a great night out.

This track was born out of darker thoughts, but turned into something rather positive. Embedded in harmonics and melody are traces of hope for our future.

Originally part of the compilation "Schallplatte 25" (under the German title Silberstreif). This version is slightly rebuilt, as some instruments were missing from the original one. And, of course, remastered.

First released in September 2022.

Glück Music is a record label that it is born aiming for alternative music artists. Music that is influenced with different styles and currents, in many occasions, near experimental things, but always with plenty feeling and ready to feel a range of sensations.

For Glück Music's first launch, we take on Marco Schneider, Berlin's young music that shows to the world his particular vision of the music. 

In this beginning, we can see a dared Marco Schneider, playing with 80's sounds, with harmonious, elegant, and perfectly placed guitars. 

Melodies with certain funky touch, united with Hucklebarry Helen's awesome voice, will get you and move, and completely joyful. The first piece is from "Tonight", in which it predominates over the funky guitar and bass characteristics that Marco has accustomed us. Hucklebarry's feminine voice gives the special touch to an equal track so special to us, Glück Music.

The second and third pieces, are the single, Hoodrat. 
A bold and energetic theme for which we place our bets, without doubt, from we perceive the first note.
