Based on the free interpretation of the ‘breakbeat’ genre, the breadcrumb trail of this second compilation is the theme “from happy to dark” (or the other way) to celebrate the fluctuation of emotions whether positive or negative. Over-cultivated positivism implies the rejection and the covering up of negative emotions… This compilation is here to reminds you to live fully your emotions and only think about what’s best for you. It’s OK not to always look on the bright side of things. Be gentle to yourself.

n this set Beta wanted to blend several styles, starting with a mix that is a premonition of an adventure, or rather an ode to destiny. Amor fati, love for the future and whatever it may bring, but always carried away by emotion and impetus. A journey that travels across this future through breaks, emo-club, neoflamenco and synth among other genres.

SAYA invites BETA

Maqlab embodies a strange tension between primal and hyper-modern influences. Spectral voices intertwine with the electric and industrial elements of the composition, creating an esoteric interpretation of the grime and dubstep genres.

Maqlab is the first single taken from the forthcoming LP "Dounia" (out Sept. 24).
