Following his recent release on Ki, we welcome back Japanese producer Daisuke Tanabe, who last appeared as one half of Kidsuke alongside Kidkanevil. The former Red Bull Music Academy participant told us this;

"I basically made this mix for a relaxed train ride. It’s music I like to listen to while being on packed trains during the rush hours in Tokyo. I often have to be in this awkward situation and for me this is the perfect music to stay calm even though being in an super crowded place that usually stresses me out. Hope you enjoy it"

For our 21st edition of fratii podcast, our special guest is Licushorescu. Young and talented, this Romanian lives in Botosani, a small city in the northest part of Romania.

Licusho is a newcomer and just started playing recently, however while listening to his set you can quickly recognize the talent. Idols of his include VID and Ada Kaleh. When it comes to his sets hes has said: 

“I like to believe that my sets manage to captivate the listener into a deep and wavy journey through the minimal world of techno with seamingless transitions that keeps on going and keeps on delivering emotions”.

Licushorescu has already released work for Timeless series, deep injections and 4pe4.ro, along with VOID Underground Radio Station in the near future.

Wandering between the mysterious streets I began to ponder my own existence, questioning my own sanity and feeling carelessly alone. Knocking at my door there was a group of well wishers who wanted nothing but the demise of my empire. Their time would come but it was not this day. I walked under the flickering glow of streetlights and the burning embers of a lost dream - they shone down upon my soul like some sort of distorted fog. It was a reminder of all that was lost in the fire...

John Di Stefano is an electronic musician and composer who self-released a number of cassettes as part of the 80s DIY underground on his own imprint Oktron Produktions. His music is abstract and experimental, channeling whirring synths and elements of post punk within some sort of wild creation beyond the realms of normality. 

His music is about to be reissued by Concentric Circles and distributed by Seance Centre, an album called "For the Moment" will receive a new lease of life.
