Carefully curating this mix for us Annie wanted to do something different for us. So she has gone a little bit deeper, a little bit weird but with plenty of energy, and flows perfectly from start to finish.

F.T.W.D. Podcast #2 - RaOuL

It's Dan J's 50th birthday on 16th November and I wanted to celebrate that by doing a one off Huddle Hot Mix with some of the records we played over our five years of playing in warehouses, clubs and pubs across Sheffield. 

Spent the last few months going back over the 90 or so radio shows, podcasts and guest mixes as well as wracking my rum addled brain for some of the beautiful moments we had. 

Been asked by a few people for "huddle" mixes over the past few years but it's always felt a bit mawkish and not for me, it being his 50th feels like the perfect time to celebrate this tiny part of his wonderful inimitable life. 

Great day of celebrations planned for the 16th November across Hagglers Corner in Sheffield, something Dan was really clear he wanted to happen.

Will leave those to others who'd know better.

For the 130th mix in our series we welcome British DJ and producer, and We Are The Brave resident, A.S.H. 

In the mix, A.S.H interlaces melodic, big-room, and acid techno, delivering a masterclass of four fours and exploring the genre's full range of raw emotion.

2019 saw the quickly rising artist impose himself onto the Techno scene with a string of acclaimed releases supported by many high profile artists alongside memorable performances across the UK and Europe, such as NYE at Belfast's The Telegraph Building, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, Watergate in Berlin and the WATB takeover of world-renowned Berlin clubbing institution Watergate. 

Moving on to 2020 and A.S.H hit 1million streams on his biggest We Are The Brave release “Together”, with much more planned this year he is definitely one to watch out for
