This selection of earpleasers is brought to you by Oslo based Scotsman Kusht, who rode into our family on a gallant winged horse, delivering intricate tales from far away places. 
This release is filled with terrific instrumentals, organic rhythms, dispatching field-recordings and – as you might have grasped – friends from near and far, re-telling those stories.

As always, thank you for lending us your precious ears.

Indeed, many great performances have been recorded, and we are glad to have them. But I think the greatest performances always elude, the camera, the tape recorder, the pen. They happen in the middle of the night when the musician plays for one special friend under the moonlight, they happen in the dress rehearsal just before the play opens. The fact that improvisation vanishes makes us appreciate that every moment of life is unique - a kiss, a sunset, a dance , a joke. None will ever recur in quite the same way. This very unique trio of music, souls and minds, is Eduardo Castillo's new LIVE project. Eager to expand and build on his musical reach and scope, Eduardo, has brought these very talented friends and multi instrumental musicians together to explore the potential of each of their own immense talents, only to realize, when playing and listening as an ensemble, a very powerful force came alive. Influenced by sounds and music of all reaches of the planet, and Eduardo's decades of electronic music exploration, the frequencies that are produced by this very unique troupe of musicians, are truly on another level of performance and experience.

On April 19th, DJs for Climate Action (DJS4CA) present the second annual EARTH NIGHT; an initiative harnessing the energy of the global nightlife scene to raise awareness and funds for climate action.  Taking place in the week leading up to Earth Day, the team will release an impressive music compilation and sponsor parties in Brooklyn and beyond to shine light on the challenge facing our planet and the unique role musicians can play.  

This year DJS4CA launch EARTH NIGHT RECORDS with a compilation that gathers new music from over 50 artists from 12 countries including Simon Meija (Bomba Estereo), Infinity Ink, Nicola Cruz, Little Boots, and many others. It will become available for pre-order exclusively through Bandcamp starting March 11th, and tracks will drop every week leading up to the full release on 4/19.

Proceeds from all EARTH NIGHT activities will fund projects focused on effective climate action through direct partnerships. This includes work at the nexus of renewable energy, health and education with Little Sun, boosting the global climate youth movement with Earth Guardians, and offsetting the impact of DJ air travel with CO2 Logic.
