Unmasked launches Theoria, a new interview series focusing on vinyl labels. As first guest, we are pleased to present you Fleisch records.🩸
In the past seven years, Fleisch has become synonymous with raw body music, since its infamous debut with the release of Schwefelgelb's 'Wie Die Finger Durch Den Nebel. Born from a collective in 2014, the label has evolved throughout the years, without losing its very peculiar identity born from friendship and the imprint of like-minded individuals.

Discover this and a lot more in this interview with Alison Lewis aka Zanias, one of the two original founders of the label. She also put together an eclectic mix for us, where she played just tracks released on Fleisch for a real deep dive into the aesthetics and unique identity of the label.

UNMASKED THEORIA 01 | FLEISCH RECORDS - ZANIAS

This week, we're grateful to be able to welcome Melanie Havens to the series. The São Paolo-raised, Berlin-based DJ is one of the exciting names we've watched grow. Whether it's EBM, post-punk, wave, industrial or techno, her sets combine all elements to bring together an infectious and inimitable feeling.  Whether destroying dance floors in her home country of Brazil or now in the German capital, you can also catch her dropping big mixes for Fleisch, Meta Moto and X-img to new classic sets on HÖR for Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, The Hiddens, and The Brvtalist, she’s proven time and time again, she’s only getting stronger. Unbalance - Gamma Festival 2022 [Gamma_Stage]

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @neu_romancer for its forty fourth episode of Amplify Series.

Originally from Australia, Neu-Romancer is a Berlin-based producer, musician and DJ.
Writing and playing bass post-punk band Ciern and synth in ZANIAS, her broad aesthetic entangles Dark Disco, Electro, EBM, Italo and sleazy beats - bringing a playful light to the depths of the dark realm.

The Hacker at Mechatronica [15-07-2022]

Unhealed is the moniker of the Berlin via Sao Paulo artist Igor Girio.
Active in the Sao Paulo scene since the early 2000's, he gathers experience as a promoter, artist and sound engineer in one of most exciting spotlights of South America.

Drawing inspiration from the 80's underground, he delivers powerful doses of EBM, wave, electro, italo and post-punk, combining authorial material and hidden gems into dense Dj sets.

He is also one of the minds behind the Berlin based label Crave Tapes, where he promotes events around Europe with the focus of spreading the EBM/wave/post- punk culture. With releases out on labels such as The Hiddens, Miseria, Crave Tapes and Shishi, he is becoming a regular on the Berlin, Lisbon and Sao Paulo circuits.
