The most mysterious Yatzerythms mixtape is officially here. The copyright of the Greek music producer known as C:CA who was born in Athens in the early 80's, this talented individual spent most of his childhood years scouring music stores buying tapes and records. With influences from classical, disco, electro clash, thrash metal, dub, techno and house music sounds during his life's melodic journey, C:CA's sound is heavy; a mixture of techno and dub combined with elements taken from house, 90's or 80's disco samples or noisy vocals. For his Yatzerythms mixtape specially recorded LIVE for Yatzer, he used a Mac, a turntable and an Akai APC40 Ableton Controller. All you now have to do is press play to let this undercover, talented master’s dirty live mix of slow techno and noisy house with alternations and references to classical instruments transmit you to the mysterious world of C:CA!

Alright here we go, the 30th digital release and second from our Undefault boys is ready to infiltrate the record stores. These guys know how to get your ass wiggling, so prepare yourself for some fresh, intelligent minimal techno with a jazzy touch straight from Russia. Their new EP is called Lanfren-Lanfra and starts with Lanfra, a delicate menu of complex rhythmic patterns garnished with a variety of melodic bits and cuts. Followed by Lanfren, where massive percussions surround a stripped down melody. A subtle movement of different samples that morph within a sophisticated arrangement. Included is an outstanding remix from our staff members Echoton, who give this track their own trademark touch of trippy crackling textures on top of a funky beat. The last composition named Lantatita is a spaced out tune with mystical pads that wander through the ether, within a multitude of reverbed keys and samples. As usual this release will be available in your favorite download stores around the globe.

LAB33 aka Giannis Kampiotis and Antonis Colovos are based in Athens, Greece and their music adventure dates back in 2000 when they started performing as DJs in venues mainly in Athens such as Motel, Danza, Bios, Inoteka, Skullbar and Athens Digital Week.

Their DJ sessions stand out as eclectic because Giannis and Antonis have mastered the bridging of different styles of dance music - like house, techno, dub or electronica - in one set. Despite a spontaneous "no plan" attitude during their performances, they manage to fully utilize their digital toys and rare vinyls and create an orchestration of "precise contrasts".

Besides djing, LAB33 have a passion for musical structure and composition. Strongly committed to music production they enjoy challenging dance music boundaries through original music composition, sampling and remixing. Their extended experiments will soon take shape through the release of their debut EP on Dion Recordings.
