Imagine a sunny day on a boat, floating through Berlin waters. What music would you like to listen to or share with everyone on board?

With this question in mind, we reached out to our friends and everyone came back to us with another musical interpretation. The result are the tinyboat sessions - a collection of mixtapes as diverse as our community. Anything that brings joy or lets our thoughts wander is welcome.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce @alle_anders and his three-hour journey of fresh and vibrant sounds, recorded after a day spent at La Barca during its construction phase. We are immensely grateful to have you as part of our musical family ♥

"While digging through my record collection for this mix I was imagining La Barca crossing the waters around Berlin in a golden, yet moody autumn scenery, the last sun rays lighting up the leaves while from distance you can see people moving and gathering around the chimney that’s illuminating the inside of the boat. Welcome to Mystical Vision's special mix series called Mystical Grooves, performed by Desert Raven once a month on Twitch livestream.

In this particular journey, https://soundcloud.com/desertravenmusic focuses on deep meditation, silence of soul, to listen to what is around him, not just within him.  It is a prayerful act of sacred connection to listen.  The world is full of people incessantly sending messages, but not enough people listening.  Desert Raven, to receive the message, had to listen to what each song was saying, then move accordingly.  This set is more live than even Desert Raven's usual live dynamic, very flowstate, unplanned, but very connected, very in tune with the deep vision within.  Each song follows so intuitively, as if the Spirit itself was guiding Desert Raven and telling him what to select each new track and how to play live instrumentals.  You, the listener, you the dancer, you the travelling companion, should listen intently and intentionally, with Desert Raven.  Tell us in the comments what you hear!  Tell us what you see!  Tell us what you feel!

Desert Raven's journey here begins with a deep, ancient ethno-tribal ambient portal with an overlay of one of Alan Watts' talks about silence, listening, meditation, and the spiritual practice of "not thinking".  He then moves into four of his favorite and very unique ethno-organic downtempo groovers, to paint the prophetic panorama of the sonic landscape we are about to travel through.  From there, all you long-time downtempo enthusiasts will recognize some classic gems and some new treasures unearthed.  Desert Raven believes that this is a fresh wind of the Spirit speaking, and, personally, he feels it revitalized his vision for the downtempo journey.  You can hear something very familiar, yet realize that there was something in it that you never heard before.  This is what this journey is truly about.

As with every Medicine Grooves journey, you see Desert Raven here in deep flow state, completely free of fear and mental chains holding him back. “Chasing Rabbits” on Keller is Oilst & Ben Jarli's debut EP. They have developed their own unique style of eclectic downtempo, blending inspiration from a broad and colourful spectrum of genres. The three original tracks featured on this EP share a distinctive analogue sound design, and a dark, yet warm timbre.

The EP also includes two remixes of the title track. The first is an epic contribution from the up-and-coming live act O/Y, where the original’s signature acid bassline evolves into immersive ambient soundscapes. The second is a serotonin fuelled festival anthem by Molto, a promising offspring of the Keller stable.
