French producer Teho makes a swift return to Herzblut to follow up his excellent Hope EP from May this year. His latest work sees him team up with fellow Frenchman and huge talent Tran, who's own music has been described as oscillating between minimal and melodic. Making this partnership a perfect fit. 

Their KOTO EP sees Teho & Tran submerging us in trademark emotional and powerful soundtracks, enhanced further by their use of the wonderful sounds of the Orient. Lead cut Asakusa elegantly displays its power through its pulsing one note bass and opening broken beat pattern. Its liquid flow sees it gather intensity before the Eastern strings echo in its breakdown. On the flip we are treated to more of the same, this time lead by Kabuki's beautiful flutes, warped bassline and plucked string melody. Perfection.

Romulus has remixed Melodule & Van Did in the past, we are happy to welcome him back with this 4 new tracks. Damien Romei is a brilliant character and highly skilled producer from south of France, he becomes a well known name playing in festivals, around Europe, Japan, Sri Lanka and Switzerland performing alongside names such as Rone, Joris Delacroix and Microtrauma.

'This Little Dream', the main theme of this release, reflects the unique style of Romulus. He is a true story teller and his music sometimes remembers cinematic landscapes, a circus, a theatre or a fantastic novel!

Teho delivers a remix of 'This Little Dream', he has become a rising name this past year with his captivating live performances many remixes and two EPs signed under Herzblut Recordings!

To complete this release Van Did has done a twisted interpretation of Rouages!

French artist Teho and Montreal based comrade Van Did have joined forces on this EP. Combining their talents for building powerful and emotional soundscapes, the duo have released an impressive EP called Hope on Stephan Bodzin’s Herzblut Recordings last year.

It’s little wonder that Teho & Van Did's music has found support from the likes of Applescal, Hernan Cattaneo, Moonbeam, Gabriel & Dresden and Deepfunk, Long Way From Home is a perfect example of their immersive, multilayered sound. Warm bassline, enchanting pads and escalating melodies make for an epic opener. Huacachina is a groovy and progressive composition yet powerful and cinematic.

French Duo, We Need Cracks, deliver a dreamy and captivating remix of Long Way From Home, duo has been catching international attention with very solid releases on labels such as Traum Schallplatten.

Completing the release is remix by Daniel Zuur, Amsterdam based producer who deliver a deeper and melodic rework that still retains the energy of the original.

Canal Auditif presents two young electronic music producers, named Na’am, known for their first widely acclaimed EP 'Alyah'.

Their musical universe is a fine and rare mixture of deep-house, electronica, melodic techno and oriental inspirations, like a salute to their origins. 
Pierre-Loys and Mehdi’s influences come from artists such as Bruise of Customs(US), Mind Against, Hraach, Viken Arman or Adriatic, but we can also find film atmospheres like the Dutch duet Weval and from melodic compositions of N’to, Worakls or mister Oliver Koletzki. 
Rather than confine itself to a single style, Na'am experiments and cultivates a melodious crossover, as a metaphor of their personal history.

Na'am begins its collaboration with Canal Auditif in 2015, releasing its first EP 'Alyah', which means "spiritual rise" in Arabic. 
This seven titles opus, included four remixes, is the opportunity for these both friends to propose a range of styles going from house, tech-house or progressive house, to indie dance or even nu-disco. 
The result was very attractive and mature for a fine debut and gains support from Namito, Rosenfeld (Systematic), Justin Robertson, Aquarius Heaven, John Digweed, Eelke Kleijn, Dusty Kid, Marc Roberts (Snowbombing), Arjun Vagale, Arno (Booka Shade), Wally Lopez, Guy J, Marc Marzenit, Nicolas Masseyeff, Guy Gerber, Nick Warren and Oliver Schories .

In this spiritual rise, what makes unmistakably the charm of Na' am, is especially the mixture of a cold and so ardent atmosphere. 
Those tones so distant, resonate in our ears in such a natural and familiar way. 
The duet tries hard to create a music which absorbs us and change us, not quite as the same as we were previously.
